Siti Nursyazana Binte Mohd Yassin (b.2001) is an aspiring artist and educator who's currently studying in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) to pursue a Diploma in Art Teaching. Syaz has a passion for fine art and is resolved to taking risks in order to push herself further in her artistic endeavours.

Throughout her years of education, Syaz has developed a strong determination and perseverance under adversity. She was offered the MOE Teacher Training Scheme scholarship in 2018, and has since worked towards maintaining a responsible and committed attitude to excelling in whatever she undertakes.

 

During her studies in NAFA, Syaz was given the 'Dean's List Award' in 2018. She has since participated in events such as the NAFA Open House 2020, where her works were showcased as part of a group exhibition, and Feed Your Imagination (FYI) for Day Out @Esplanade as one of its facilitators. She has also showcased her work as part of the SOAD OIP Exhibition after undergoing an overseas immersion programme to Bangkok to gain experience and knowledge on Thailand's contemporary arts.
